I'm gonna go ahead and embrace all that is YouTube. Go to my profile there (username: Fiorious) and rewatch this video along with a TEASER TRAILER FOR SOME KIND OF CHILL. That's right, if there's even anyone reading this right now, you can finally get a glimpse at that thing I keep putting up stupid posts about, and then get more confused after you see it. Retardation.

SHIT SUN [Aug. 21st, 2006|03:07 pm]
So many updates lately, you'd think I didn't have anything better to do. The reason for this update is this:

That's right, there's now a SKOC community on LJ. I created it out of boredom, but maybe it can blossom into something grander. Please please please join and tell all your friends to join (kewl peeps only plz). I'll give members a discount on the dvd or free shwag or something awesome (stickers!!!!). I might post SKOC updates there instead of here from now on, but that remains to be seen. I'm so indefinite about everything. Just tell everyone to join.

SKOC: THE MUSIC [Aug. 20th, 2006|12:05 pm]
Big ups to Ben and Arizona for helping develop the tone of SKOC with their music. Whenever I get off my ass and finish the movie, you'll be earsexed by the strange beauty that is their music. HOWEVER, you can already pick up their latest album and learn all about the happy hobbits who make up Arizona. Here are some helpful links:

These guy are great, buy all their stuff, eventually I'll team up with them and bring music videos to a new level. PEACE

skoc. Skoc. SKOC. SKOC! [Aug. 18th, 2006|03:53 pm]

So close yet so far.

A rough cut of the film has been complete for about 2 weeks. It's missing some sound and some color correction but it's basically all there. Last night I held a special engagement screening for Josh Wigler, one of the Production Managers over at Wigler World Enterprises. Also in attendance were Ben Stern, who plays Elias in the movie, and Bill, who was just kinda there. I prepared for some harsh criticism but was relieved to hear that everyone thought it was better than the first one. That's right folks, Some Kind Of Chill is even better than Hopeless America. That means more Comedy, more Drama, more Action, more Horror, more Romance than any other movie I've ever made put together multiplied by ten. The film clocks in at just under 70 minutes, every second of which will pound you in the ass and make you its bitch. Also, there's an original soundtrack this time (thanks, Arizona!). No copyrighted music to get in the way of propelling this thing to superstardom. The only problem now is me taking care of those last few things that need to happen in order to have a complete movie. I have a job now, which makes me incredibly uninterested in doing any work outside of real work. I will also be starting school as soon as the job is over, so yet another hurdle. But hey, it's life, and it's ultimately more important than SKOC, right? Right guys?

It's coming soon, that's all I can say. Hopefully it's coming very soon. My advice to those of you who can't wait:

*Make SKOC stickers and stickerbomb your town. Make sure the places that get the most foot traffic also get the most stickers.

*Include SKOC in everything you talk about. Ex: "Yeah, it sucks that Pavement broke up, but at least Some Kind Of Chill is coming out soon."

*Write SKOC in gasoline on the front lawns of your enemies. Then light a match.

*Smoke a bowl.

*Make SKOC T-shirts. Give them to everyone.

*Send me "Hurry Up Money"

*If male, receive fellatio. If female, distribute.

I think that about covers it.
SKOC: coming... soon?

SKOC: Cleveland Steaming Ahead [Jun. 6th, 2006|10:28 pm]
In case you're wondering whether you should read this, it's an update on my movie "Some Kind of Chill". If that means nothing to you, stop reading duder!

So first off, sorry for the long silence after that troubling update. It seemed like all hope was lost, but then I remembered I come from money, so the situation was easily remedied. The drive was sent off a few weeks ago along with a larger, unbroken drive. The data was switched onto the spiffy new drive, which arrived here about five days ago. I plugged it in, checked it out, and as if nothing ever happened, the movie was there just as I left it. Those data recovery people, man oh man. Anyway, as of today, I have returned to work on the movie, determining what is left to do and what is locked and ready. I can confidently say that the movie is about 70% ready. It will be a bit of a squeeze to get into picture lock by August, but I've got a decent amount of free time and a work ethic that is usually pretty reliable. The DVD will NOT be available at the time of release cuz thats gonna be a task in and of itself. But I can say it will surface eventually. And be spectacular. I've got some teaser trailers I'm looking to put on youtube, so keep an eye out for those. As for the premeire, there's still no definite date, just August. As always, when more info is figured out, it will be posted here. All I can say for now is get ready to have the whole world of the Huntington Chronicles flipped upside down, smashed in your face, rammed up your ass, and exploded in the sky in a bouquet of fireworks that can only be described as Some Kind Of Chill.

Hope to see you there.

SKOC Update: An Inconvenient Truth [Apr. 26th, 2006|08:51 pm]

Recently, I 've been carting around one of my external harddrives to do some school work on campus. This was my super-spiffy LaCie which also contained all the raw footage from Some Kind Of Chill as well as the work-in-progress cut of the film. Yesterday, when trying to connect it to my laptop to continue editing, I made a tragic discovery: the harddrive had crashed. So what exactly does this mean for Some Kind Of Chill, the final chapter in the Huntington Chronicles? Well, for one thing it means there's another obstacle between me and editing this film (the main one used to be school, which just ended). In addition, this means the dead drive will need to be sent to a data recovery company who will extract all the files that didn't die (hopefully all of them since there was no crazy damage done). I have sent a price inquiry to the company and await their response. Once I know, I'm probably going to start up a get-the-drive-repaired fundraiser in order to finish the film. I don't know how much interest will surface for this cause, but I will try it out anyway. Even if no one decides to contribute anything, I will find a way to get the repairs done if it means asking my mom a lot. REGARDLESS, I gaurantee that no fan will be let down and THERE WILL BE A CHILL IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I thank you all for your ongoing support and may the force be with you.
